What does a 'strategy' mean?
For my first job after graduation, I worked at an agency for close to 3 years where my job scope, on top of my main responsibility of client servicing, includes: content creation, video production, photography direction, PPC, running Facebook ads. Long story short, I'm pretty good at executing tactics/creating content (& distributing) but never dip my toes into strategy, until my current job. I've been tasked to work on the strategies for a few social media platforms. The problem is... I don't understand what 'strategy' means. I currently have two interpretations and I'm not sure which is correct: 1) According to social media prep list/guide from Sculpt (?), a social media strategy encompasses goals, audience persona, platform definition, content and execution. So a platform strategy = a plan? 2) I initially thought a social media plan can have multiple strategies, and under the umbrella of each strategy sits multiple tactics. E.g.
